Lead by Faith, Walk with Spirit

How do we become true leaders in our careers, homes, and communities? What separates our successes from failures, our gains from losses, our hopes from disappointments? How can we standout, truly, and live as a Lily among Thorns? I believe we must Lead by Faith, and Walk with Spirit.

We ask ourselves: Who am I? Who do I want to be? This implies we seek identity, purpose, excellence, growth, individualism, satisfaction. I may not know you, but I know if you are reading this, you either wish to grow in faith or are seeking to establish it. You may not be satisfied today, but you choose to fill that emptiness going forward. You may not be walking with purpose today, but you are shining a light on the path of peace it promises. I do not know you, yet I know this:

YOU ARE NOT ALONE. YOU ARE IMPORTANT. YOU ARE BELOVED.

Isn’t that amazing? There is so much promise, hope, and grace in this TRUTH. But first, we must BELIEVE in it. In HIM. Leading by Faith does not happen without dedication: without first establishing you believe His promise, and second by protecting His truth.  Life has brought me many ups and downs, as I am sure you can relate. It has been by only His guidance and grace that I lead by faith and walk with spirit today. He is my leader, my protector and my peace. A meaningful, dedicated, and faithful relationship with JESUS has filled my heart with passion and purpose! So much so, that I am asking you to journey with me in devotion to living in His truth.

I do not profess to be a spiritual expert, a minister, a professional writer. I write as a woman in reflection, with a passion for leading by faith in all that I do. I am imperfect, impatient, and impractical. Yet in His eyes, I am a Lily among Thorns: perfect, patient, and promising. It is my hope that by reflecting on life’s make or break moments and devoting ourselves to spiritual strength, we can be our best selves, just as Jesus intended for us through His immeasurable sacrifice. It is my hope that through these reflections and devotions, I might connect with at least one heart, one soul, and one lily on this same journey.
